The Three Regulations – San Tiao
Before starting the practice of Qigong, and that it is most beneficial and effective, we have to perform Three major regulations: of the body, that of the breathing and the mind or emotional heart. Each is as important as the previous.
The easiest and most convenient way to search for this regulation, is to begin to regulate the body. For this we have to adopt a posture that is relaxed, which in turn is able to keep us grounded and spine aligned. If one is able to maintain this position for an extended period, without losing the feeling of comfort, will mean that we have found.
